In any case, if you need to replace your GH drumset and you can find it at a good price, I recommend picking it up. It has the same description adn even the same note that the kick pedal was reinforced with tape. My only gripe is, when I went to the seller's section after ordering it, I noticed that they raised the price to $39.39! I'm glad that I got it at the price I did but I don't think that's right. I was surprised at how quickly it arrived, in just a week. So, even if the new one works intermittently or not at all, I can just keep it as a back up. That was fine, because before my other drumset, I had replaced the pedal with a new one. They said it was reinforced with electrical tape. The drumset was $19.99, on account of the kick pedal not being 'perfect'. I ordered this through Amazon but it was a 3rd party seller. I'm not a drummer BTW, I'm a guitarist but I can actually do most songs on the games on hard, except of course when it gets to the last 2 tiers. It works great and it's nice to be able to play my GH games on the drums again. It's the same drumset that comes with World Tour or I think any band kit for that matter, with the exception of Rock Band. So, I came across this and found a used one that had only been opened, not used.

I endured the arduous task of opening the whole thing up (so many tiny screws!) and got a friend of mine to help me solder it. I had the GH:WT full band kit and ended up breaking one of the pads on the drumset (the red one).
